So, I had to go all the way to Derby hospital again today for my 6 month checkup to see if my operation worked or not. I got there in time, as my appointment was for 11:30am.

I waited an hour in the waiting room until I was finally told to go wait in a cubicle for the consultant. It was another hour before I was finally seen again! Gah.

I was expecting to see Mr Russell, the guy who did my op, as this is who I was told I would see. Unfortunately, it wasn't. But, at least the guy had a sense of humour. He had a look at my scar and asked how it'd been and gave me the thumbs...

So, I came back not long ago from the air show at RAF Waddington. Fantastic as always. <3

The usual stars of the show were in it like the parachute team, the chinook and of course, my favourite, the Typhoon. But, it was great to finally see the fabled Vulcan fly, especially after all the money raised to get it off the ground. ("Mah babeez awl growed up!" [/Tear] )

Just had a show to de-jet fuel and de-dust and now I'm lying in agony in cotton sheets that feel like sandpaper from a mix of jet burns and sun burn. xD

So my arm fucked up yesterday and i was in A&E for fucking hours. i got shoved on tramadol so if it ytype like shit sorry. not happy

So, I went for an ultrasound on my left elbow (The one I had operated on back in may 2008) and, as expected, they found that my nerve had indeed popped out and was sliding back and forth over the bone. Which pretty much meant that my operation had failed.

Today I went for my follow up and saw Mr Russell (The hand consultant) to see what he thought.

He decided, after much poking around and wiggling of my nerve (Bastard) that he is going to operate again and re-pin the nerve.


OH JOY. ¬¬ More torture... Lets hope they get it right this time so I can fucking get...

So, me and Lee had to stay round my brothers last night. Why? Because of nasty goings on.

OK,
so it was a normal night time for us. We'd finished watching Dexter
season 4 episode 2, Lee decided to go have a shave while I tinkered
with Facebook and ate a cheese bagel. Everything was fine...

Suddenly,
Lee shouts me...

As you are probably aware, I spent 14 years of my life as a Jehovah's
Witness. Not a good 14 years, I might add, but I honestly thought that
I was doing something right and it was the correct faith to be in and
all the usual bullshit most religious people think the moment they join
a new belief system.

A few years ago, I left that faith due to
personal experiences of a supernatural kind. The experiences I had led
me to realize that most of what I had previously believed wasn't for
me. In fact, a lot of it disgusted me when I thought about it properly.

The dream started out where I was pregnant. Nothing out of the
ordinary, as I have quite a few dreams like that every month, but there was something odd about it. I went into labor and could feel
everything. Intense pain, yet it felt oddly good. But, instead of the
baby coming out of the usual place, I had an opening at the bottom of my stomach and it slid out of it, but it was still attached for a while by cord, which eventually slid out itself.

It was the strangest feeling I've ever had in a dream, it felt nice, yet really odd. The only problem was, I had twins, but...

So, I burnt my tongue today. Oh yes. Yes indeed. It hurt like hell and now it's all numb and feels furry. DAMN YOU STEAK & ALE PIE!

Anyway, Me and Lee (Rosencavalier) had a property viewing today. It was awful. I felt like I needed a shower (And a tetanus shot) after we left.

The rooms were tiny, the kitchen WAS the living room, the cooker was broken, there was no phone line, there was damp and mou;d everywhere and the back door had no key to it, had a big board covering a huge crack in it as if someone had tried to break in and the keyhole was wide open with huge gaps...

I haven't really updated in the little while, so I figured I should probably start doing this again now, while I remember.

Went up Ripley today to pick up my new pair of glasses.

My old pair broke a year and a half ago, so I've been without glasses since. I only need them for close work, because I'm seriously long-sighted. I had my old once nearly 6 years, so I was well pissed off when they bust. I took such...

So, I had my nerve tests today. Yes, more of them. They say my nerve popped back out again, (The one I had operated on.) but I guess we'll see if it's true.

We had to go to Derby City hospital, which meant catching the bus from here for an hour long journey to Derby, followed by yet another bus ride to the hospital. =/ I hate that they've moved the DRI there.

We ended up having to eat at Costa Coffee. Stupidly expensive, but we had no choice. The restaurant there is utter shit! I had an All Day Breakfast toasted sandwich, which consisted of sausage, bacon, egg mayo (UGH! I...

So, I had my opticians appointment today. Had my eyes tested, but the guy never even said a word about them, so I'm assuming that it's all ok. I had to order a new pair of frames though. £60! I really can't afford it right now, but I really need my glasses. I have been without them now for well over a year and my eyes feel so tired when I'm reading/writing. I chose some similar to my old ones, but with metallic blue frames! (Blue IS my favorite colour after all.) I nearly went for some bronze coloured ones, they were so nice. <3

After my appointment, me and Lee were hungry. He fancied...

I tried to wrote this bastard yesterday, but due to being logged out, it got wiped! So, I shall try again...




I woke up the other morning after the most unusual dream. (9th) It began where I was part of some sort of group, or gang. It reminded me of the Yakuza, or something. I ended up shooting people in the face with a nail gun. It was awesome, because I shot this annoying bitch right in the eye. XD

Next minute, the dream changes (As my dreams tend to do)...

So, today I was stabbed. No, don't worry, I don't mean with a knife. (Besides, the assholes around here wouldn't dare try it.) I had my blood test. It was an amusing kerfuffle, to be honest.

Went to bed last night very tired after a meal of chips and gravy. Lee decided to borrow my lappy, so he was busy typing away on here most of the time. I fell asleep for all of two minutes and woke up feeling very irritable. What made it worse was that Lee had signed into Facebook to find a message from one of his exes.
