McDonalds is a fun place to work. Always keeps you busy. I like that. What I don't like? The snotty ass people you have to deal with. What snotty people, right? Because all the people who come to McDonalds are fat with low self esteem and all portray a lack of ill mannerism as a fear that someone won't like them, right? WRONG! There's actually quite a few skinny people who are "Lovin' it," and because "we love to see you smile" we totally do everything in our power to make you have a great time on your visit so that you will come back and help support our pay check. 8D Yes, yes... it's sad. It's horrible, really. I saw an old woman today come in walk up to a woman with her kids (Whom I've been standing here watching this whole time, because I'm taking their order) and ball her out saying that she has a very rude son and that her son was over there making faces at a little boy who she insists has Parkinson's disease through the window. The little boy pleaded with his mommy that he didn't do it (by the way, the kid didn't look like he was over the age of 6 TOPS), but his mommy hadn't been paying attention and had been giving me her order. So, she scolds the child and slaps him on the hand telling him that he should know better. When in fact, the child hadn't done it. If he had, it had been for a split second when I was looking at the monitor to put in her order for three kids meals one hamburger two chicken nugget and two with apple dippers and a large sweet tea. Oh yes, I remember. -.- And I wanted to hit that fucking old bag. This old woman by the way, is the same old woman who bitched me out TUESDAY, because I had to check on a man's order who was a head of her, and did not get her her fucking senior coffee and senior drink AS SOON AS SHE ORDERED IT! So, what do I do?
"I'm sorry ma'am. What would you like in your coffee?"
Her reply?
"Two creams and one sugar." [/cue exaggerated exasperated sigh]
Yes, McDonalds is a lovely place to work. lol
