We are currently in need of the following:

To be a Guide

To be a Guide, the following is required:

• More than 30 posts (Member Rank) - We want ACTIVE Guides, not lurkers.
  
• Spare time - Not as much as a Mod position, but still enough to stay devoted to any 'pupils' you might gain.
  
• Patience - This is needed, as some new people are also new to forums in general, so they may get confused easy.
  
• A basic knowledge of forums - In case they ask technical questions. Also, this is needed, because a Guide is responsible for maintaining their own forum section.
  
• Friendly attitude - You obviously have to be nice to be a Guide in the first place. (But, remember. Don't take any abuse.)

A Guide is someone who looks after new members. A new member will either choose you, or you can choose them. (Of course, they have to agree first.) That member will be your 'pupil' until they reach 50 posts. It will be your job to look after them, remind them of the rules, show them around the site, help them out with anything they need help with and just generally help them fit in. A Guide has no mod powers, except in their own forum section, so their responsibility isn't as high as a moderator's. A Guide can only have 3 new members as pupils at any given time and a member can only have 1 Guide.
