PostSomewhere beyond the snow hill... skys are blue...

It's cold. Walking to class at 7:30 in the morning my forehead became numb. The snow was everywhere, and yet the ice on the roads that all the cars were slipping on, trying to avoid any type of collision was not not reason enough to cancel classes again. Monday classes were canceled because of over 12 inches of snow. Tuesday classes were canceled because the snow was still melting. It's almost Friday. There are still inches of snow in some places on campus. Classes resumed yesterday. The roads are iced over, and some parts of the road are not even cleared at all. There's no guard rail. Students are walking over the side of the road, and cars continue to spin towards them.

On the upside of things, though, I managed to complete two major assignments over the weekend. This weekend I have to study for an exam on Wednesday. Though, I also have a couple other things to complete. For example, Whitney wishes to come and visit me this weekend. I miss her, so I'd enjoy spending some time with her. Also, my new friend, Tasha, and I are going to be trying to figure out how we can fix my hair for the play. I have a dress now. It's one of two, One fit perfect. One had to be altered. They're going to let me use the one that fit if the woman who had placed it on hold doesn't come and get it by tomorrow. I hope she doesn't. I loved that dress. I felt beautiful, other than my hair being a mess. I get excited thinking about it. Most women only get to wear a wedding dress once in their life (Unless they get married multiple times, which I'm hoping I can avoid). I get to wear one six nights in a row.

My old room mate moved out. She took everything with her. This place was barren until my current room mate and I started moving things in to make it look more home-y. We have a television that I brought from home, pictures out on the counters and even a island in the kitchen. Yea, it looks good in here. I'm excited about spending time with her next semester. She's a great person and we really get along. I'm worried that she may move out of here, though to live with another girl that is wanting her to move in with her. I really enjoy having Heather (my room mate) living here. I can appreciate her privacy and she appreciates mine, but we actually get along and we can talk for hours about anything. I didn't feel that comfortable with my old room mates. I mean, I liked them, and I loved talking to Zandra, but it wasn't like this. Heather gets me. Smile

Also, I'm making plans for Paul to come and visit this summer. Should be interesting. Not really sure how we're going to do this. It's going to require money, and right now, I have none. Next semester I will, so if we can't work it out to spend time together this summer, then next winter, I definitely will be able to spend time with him. Which is good, because I could actually spend the Holidays with him. I just want to be able to spend time with him. So, that's basically what my life consists of at the moment. Homework. Snow. Boyfriend. Room mate. Food. (I'm still craving KFC.)

Always acknowledge a fault. This will throw those in authority off their guard and give you an opportunity to commit more. ---Mark Twain
