What is your favorite childrens book? What's it about? Who is it by?

My favorite childrens book is "The Ugly Duckling" by Hans Christian Anderson. We all know what this story is, but I will describe it anyways. It is a story about a baby duckling who everyone teases and makes fun of because they think that he is ugly, but when the duckling grows up he turns into something much more beautiful. A swan. It teaches a good lesson, and it is meant to give self esteem. It is a beautiful story in my opinion.

I really adored Animalia; I would spend hours and hours staring at the pictures. I still do when I see it around.
It's top shape in terms of the art and the alliterations. Fun times.

I also enjoyed The Sleeping House, The Giving Tree, The Great Babook Tree (or something) and of course Goodnight Moon. <3
